A good quality wheel with a vintage looking smooth tyre and durable nylon hub. They have a low bounce thermoplastic rubber tyre and will not deflate in use. I have always found this type of wheel better in everyday use than the expensive inflatable ones which very often go flat and bounce too high on landing.
Low bounce wheels are better for landings. Soft bouncy wheels might seem like a good idea but the problem is that if the model makes a heavy landing on soft wheels it will bounce up off the ground then lose forward speed then stall and fall out of the sky and hit the ground hard often breaking something
For a nice smooth landing think ahead of the model good landings depend on good approaches and a good approach depends on a well planned circuit. Frequent practice is the key !
